I finished Jennifer Government today over my lunch hour and frankly, I'm much impressed. The book has this crazed energy to it - it grabs you by the wrist and pulls you the whole way through. American Shaolin says that a traditional Chinese proverb is: "you must learn to eat bitter." Essentially, accept the bitterness and deal with it, because eventually all will win out. So when the heck does doing push ups stop making my arms ache? Maybe I'm doing too many or something, but everything burns. Hopefully soon, this will be less bitter.

So my whole, "gonna go back to writing in my journal every night!" thing hasn't, well, caught on. But that's okay. Its all right to fall back some, as things are getting caught up with themselves with the passing of a year.
